Q&A

How do you mentally prepare for a competition?
I spend two or three days getting comfortable with the course. I get confident with my self and my skiing. And the night before the competition, I relax with my coaches and teammates. On the day of the competition, I try to stay as calm as I can and LET ER BUCK when the time comes to ski my run.

What is your strategy for doing your sport better than your competitors?
My strategy for being the best at my sport is to train as hard and as smart as I can.

What is your inspiration?
My inspiration is to be the best athlete I can be and that is the same as in any aspect of my life.

Who is your mentor/muse?
My parents are the best mentors a person could have. They guide me through life and make it possible for me to ski.

What was your proudest moment in sport?
My proudest moment in sport was when I won the NORAM Grand Prix in Montana.

Outside of competition what do you do in life that you feel makes you a better person?
I like to teach kids to ride horses, my other favorite sport.

In what ways does the product you wear better your performance?
In my sport I am always fighting the elements, so having high quality equipment is key if I want to train all day. That's why I ski in 180s.
